Founded in November 2025, the GG Orchestra envisions their role in the musical landscape in several ways: presenting live, world-class musical experiences for Bay Area tenants and visitors, providing open rehearsals that draw a tech-native, creative demographic, recording professional audio for new media projects and scores, and collaborating with blind and visually impaired musicians and talent from underrepresented communities. The ensemble has been rehearsing exciting, epic repertoire from video games, film, and anime while building collaborations with visually impaired musicians and local artists and composers across the Bay Area. Its members come from diverse backgrounds and are high-caliber, classically trained musicians united by a shared passion for multimedia music.
