Mosaic Strings is a collective of professional musicians that seeks to enrich the Bay Area by performing music at the highest caliber through hired events, concerts, and community performances. Mosaic Strings values the impact music has on all people throughout various moments in life – from formal weddings to community center lunches – and aims to highlight those moments through programs that connect uniquely with each audience.
The co-founders, Jessica and Elmer, met during their Master’s degree programs at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2022, and have become close friends and colleagues through different performance experiences together. Some of their most impactful performances have included being in the orchestra for a traveling Music of Led Zeppelin show and playing string quartets for senior centers like the Russian Day Center. With Mosaic Strings, they are passionate about sharing their music with the diverse communities in San Francisco with free performances.
