Job Description ABOUT THE ROLELocated blocks from the San Francisco Embarcadero waterfront, InterMusic SF is seeking an Office Associate to join our dedicated and passionate staff, in advance of presenting our annual flagship event, SF Music Day – a daylong, free music festival, hosted at the historic SF War Memorial & Performing Arts Center. The Office Associate role offers an exceptional opportunity to work directly with seasoned development officers, arts leaders, and the professional musician community, at large. All InterMusic SF staff members are trained and practicing artists, and form a team that values creative problem solving, encourages teamwork, and embraces innovative solutions. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Office Associate serves an important role in supporting day-to-day operations, as well as the production of this year’s SF Music Day festival. The Office Associate is responsible for managing SF Music Day partnerships; gathering marketing materials to support PR and development efforts; and updating artist profile records to support our re-granting and fiscal sponsorship programs. Knowledge of the Bay Area performing arts community is a plus. RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with SF Music Day featured artists to gather and vet marketing materials. Support the Executive Director in coordinating with small business representatives to produce the SF Music Day, Artisan Marketplace. Assist in the production of a donor-centric, VIP event at SF Music Day: updating the guest list; securing in-kind donations; managing communications between event production staff and Board of Directors Development Sub-committee. Support Executive Director in the management of the InterMusic SF membership program and all SF Music Day-related membership-communications. Collect and aggregate upcoming performance announcements from all InterMusic SF affiliated artists for inclusion in donor communications, e-newsletters, website announcements, etc. Update and maintain accurate fiscal sponsorship Affiliate profiles. Update and maintain current and accurate contractual agreements of grant awards and professional engagements. Support all team members in office maintenance: stock printing materials, order office equipment, etc. Other duties as needed.
