Since 2008, Composing Together has brought professional composers, musicians and guest experts from fields like astronomy, botany, math and poetry directly into classrooms to collaborate with young people in creating and performing their own music inspired by a wide range of study and experience, empowering them with the knowledge that their ideas have meaning, value and the power to shape the future. Over 2000 people have participated in creating more than 150 new works as part of Composing Together.
